HDMI 2.0 the new HDMI standard

HDMI 2.0 is the HDMI standard that supports 4K equipment in full resolution with 50 fps or 60 fps. HDMI 2.0 offers with 18 Gbps significantly more bandwidth than other HDMI 1.x standards.

With HDMI 2.0 you have space for up to 32 uncompressed audio channels. The audio is supported up to 1536 kHz. HDMI 2.0 has the same type of connector as the previous versions. Also, two different video streams can be routed to the same display. HDMI 2.0 supports the 21: 9 aspect ratio with a dynamic synchronization of audio and video streams.
