PatchSee
Identifying the correct patch cords in the cupboards of a network server room or data center can be a real challenge. Due to the large number of connections in a small area it is very important to be able to identify the right cables in case of a necessary change. Making or breaking the right connection swiftly and effectively is crucial for the business continuity.
Since 2001, the patented PatchSee® concept has been marketed and has proven itself internationally. By adding two plastic fibres to a standard RJ45 patch cable and by applying a special torch you can easily identify the other side of the patch cord with a light.
In the "spaghetti" of the network patch cupboard is it possible to easily find the beginning or the ending of a cable. However, the other side is often difficult to locate. Applying PatchSee® patch cables is the solution to this problem. You do not have to disconnect the cable, but you can connect the torch to the side of which you are sure it is the right cable and turn on the light (the light that is emitted by two fibres will indicate the right cable).
The patch cables of PatchSee® can be applied in any installation based on RJ45 connectors, without required adjustments in the installation. Some international credentials of PatchSee® are: Airbus Industries, Carglass, Adecco and the airport of Paris.
